I would like to take a moment to say thank you to the wonderful Parkour community that I have the privilege of being part of; I am grateful beyond measure for everything you have done for me. Parkour has affected me in profound ways that I would have never thought possible. Just a few years back I was sitting around watching my life pass me by, but now I am on the fast track to success. For these reasons I have compiled a list of the most notable things Parkour has done for me as a person.
My self confidence has risen to a healthy level since starting this wonderful discipline
Parkour has given me an elevated level of consciousness which I use to philosophize about many topics.
I was very weak before starting Parkour; But now I am capable of feats such as the elusive one handed handstand.
I feel safe walking the streets knowing that I have the ability to escape.
All of my dreams revolve around Parkour.
Parkour is the reason I wake up in the morning (at 2:30)
When I train I am truly alive.
I express myself through my movement.
There is no feeling as wonderful as achieving a new move.
Someday when I’m touring the world I’ll have Parkour to thank.
I have control over muscles that I didn’t even know existed.
Change Of Perspective
Parkour has given me the opportunity to step into the shoes of a teacher, this special perspective is enough to keep me coming back for more.
The Parkour Community is my second family, I love it with all my heart!
I became a vegan as a direct result of starting Parkour, It was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
Every bail provides a lesson to memorize and live by.
Thanks to Parkour I have a healthy respect for fear, but I am not bound by it.
Heroes like Tim Shieff never fail to inspire me.
Parkour can never be taken from me, It will always be there waiting to lift my spirits.
Because of Parkour I know to respect others the same way I respect the environment: Overconfidence will get you harmed, therefore humility is the way to go.
If there is one thing I have learned from Parkour it is to never give up on something you want.
Daily exercise through Parkour keeps my body vibrant and full of vigor.
I only sleep six hours a night in order to get the most out of my day.
A closet full to be exact.
Me and my team are bound for life.
Parkour has granted me the prerogative to call myself a filmmaker.
Hard rocks equal hard hands.
My best memories consist of me training hard.
My music taste has been shaped by Parkour, why else would I be listening to french rap?
Some rules are meant to be broken.
Me and the police know each other on a first name basis.
When I initiate movement everything stops and the environment begins to breath through me.
A Chance To Leave My Dent In The Universe
My natural talents lie within Parkour, therefore I will utilize it as my vessel to change the world.
