Are you a dreamchaser like me? Do you spend everyday thinking about that one thing that you are chasing with all your energy? If so you will surely take an interest in this post which will be covering the ever controversial topic of dreams and what it takes to achieve them.
I have dabbled with this topic in the past but thanks to many blessings entering my life I now feel compelled to go a little deeper. Many people claim that they are going to achieve their dreams, they have dreams which they plan on achieving but have no real groundwork for success. This is why many people plan on doing one thing with their lives and end up walking a totally different route. The key to actually materializing your dreams is to posses a large level of dedication day in and day out, this means spending every moment of free time working for your dreams. You can achieve anything you want to, you just have to be willing to invest the time. Never be discouraged by those around you, they will try to deter you and in some cases undermine you. But know that it is only out of fear for the unknown; Society is scared of what it doesn’t understand. Many people will have a hard time grasping your dreams seeing as they are only present in your mind, this is why intrinsic motivation is stronger than external motivation. Intrinsic motivation will always be there for you, whereas in contrast external motivation can leave as the individuals in your life that brought it do the same.
Generally right before you achieve your dream you will be faced with a challange larger than any of the others which you have faced with up to then, this final challenge will come in a very unexpected, often tragic way. It is this obstacle that will truly test your commitment to your dreams and your resiliency in the face of danger. I recommend you prepare extensively if you plan on overcoming this final obstacle. Many people put in the hours needed to to achieve their dreams but fall just short when they buckle under during the final challenge.
Another fact that is often overlooked by those wanting to achieve their dreams is the sheer pain and agony you must go through in order to get where you want to be. There are many sacrifices you must make in order to reach these dreams you have. Would you be willing to live without your family and friends for an extended time in the name of your dreams? I am dealing with many of these same questions right now in my life and so far the overwhelming answer has been: Yes I am willing to do that in order to achieve my dreams.
Saying you are going to change the world is a whole lot easier than actually doing it. It is essential to move closer to your goal everyday, the journey of one thousand miles starts with the first step and is progressively completed with each following step,. Never put off achieving your dreams; The longer you wait the more your motivation will fade. If you are serious about achieving your dreams you oughta get to work right after you finish reading this post, think of it as a challenge from me to you.
