The internet is brimming with interesting sites and links. I try not to get too lost in this vortex of shenanigans but I have recently stumbled upon a few aesthetic and utilitarian pleasures which I deem as notable for sharing.

I recently came across an article entitled : "There’s a Word for That: 25 Expressions You Should Have in Your Vocabulary"
Being the lover of extensive diction that I am, I was giddy with anticipation at my discovery. Here in this article I have highlighted my top five words hand picked from the original list (The original list can be viewed here). Vorfreude Finding extreme pleasure in anticipating the future and the pleasures which it holds. Sillage The scent lingering in the air by someone or something after they are long gone. The last remnants of what was just reality moments ago. Fernweh A wanderlust of sorts, craving to travel to distant lands. Hiraeth Home sickness for a home to which you cannot return. Nostalgia for past experiences, an intense yearning to experience them once again. Nefelibata "Cloud Walker" On who exists in the clouds of their own imagination. An anti conformist of sorts to the conventional rules and boundaries of society. These are just a few of my favorites, be sure to check out the full list for even more verbiage you are sure to love. Mr. Nobody, ah where to start. I rarely recommend movies but I would like to throw this one out there as a "Must See". A while back in my post about the butterfly effect, I mentioned that my inspiration for writing such an article came from this very movie. The butterfly effect is illustrated wonderfully and masterfully through the non linear story telling of Mr. Nobody. I find that with each viewing of this movie, I only enjoy it more. There is much to be learned and I urge you to take the initiative, I have provided a few links below to a few sources where the movie can be viewed.
Netflix Stream (for anyone with a Netflix account) Other Stream (for anyone else) My thoughts with this video are easily described through the description I provided on the youtube video, but I would like to give a little bit more insight as to my thinking for the theme of it. "When the forces of nature present themselves, all we can do is seek refuge behind our transient man made structures. Earth is truly the oldest computer, it is consistently ending processes, falling susceptible to viruses (us), and making sure the ebb and flow of things follow some pattern. Within this video there are some hidden messages which illustrate these concepts, take note of your perspective throughout the video as well as the progression of the edit."
For a long while I have regarded humans as a parasite who are essentially destroying the earth, and I thought it would be a neat idea to do a little bit of subtle commentary of that in the video. The whole idea of training inside as a result of wicked natural forces helped me to realize just how helpless us humans are against the true forces of mother nature. With the metaphor of earth being a computer, I like to think of the ravaging seasons as a sort of basic virus scan which worked well at eliminating the virus back in the caveman era. But nowadays the virus has advanced so far that the antivirus of earth cannot really cope with it. It's only a matter of time until earth proceeds with a full format which will wipe out the human race along with any other files it has collected thus far. This is a bit of a ridiculous theory but according to murphy's law, it will eventually happen. Body mods are viewed with heavy set bias from almost any group whom you question in regard to them, you generally either hate them or love them; And everyone has their limit to the amount they can tolerate. In this article I would like to examine a few of the common held viewpoints on body mods while also providing what I believe to be the pros and cons of these “investments”. Please keep in mind that this is all subjective and I am not making any definitive claims.

This is the story so far of two real friends who spent so much time above the earth infatuated with one another. And though the end of the world made them nervous, they had now at least found someone to fall in love with, rob a bank, and shoot a cop with. However, make no mistake: she was broken, and he was such a wreck, but god knows that they made such a lovely mess together. All of the empty space which had once occupied their hearts soon was filled to the brim with love buzz. They had placed one another in a heart shaped box of sorts. The once overwhelming common day stresses seemed to be long gone, for once they could fuck the world off. Without further hesitation he asked her to join him on his lifelong quest of writing sins (not tragedies). From that day on the two found closure in the ocean of emotions. Now I was going to start this post off with a quote on the subject of expression but that seemed a little too cliche of me so I decided just to come out by stating the purpose of this post. I often ponder the idea of expression and individualism and I would like to share some of my thoughts on the subject with you and your beautiful face reading this message behind your little electric screen!
Now I am going to keep this short and sweet, hopefully it sparks a few ideas in your mind. You can draw inspiration from everything (even meeger articles like this) after all. I feel like we can all find solace in self expression. There are even some people who can find solace in the lack of said expression; that last statement may sound a little odd but it should make sense soon enough. If we look carefully we can divide the world into two simple groups: Those who follow the crowd and those who do not. There is of course a little bit of overlap in this statement but that is beside the point. What I am trying to get at, there are people out there who hide in the shadow of others, simply trying to fit in (this is how they find their little piece of peace) they silence their individual expression as a method of keeping themselves safe and out of the spotlight. On the other hand we have those who deliberately defy the crowd in an effort to stand out and express themselves as individuals. These are two very contrasted methods of coping but they should both be given credit for what they are and what they do. I fall into the latter of these two categories so keep in mind that I am a bit biased Now there is nothing wrong with either of these categories, I think we should all respect each other especially when it comes to how we each find peace of mind. What I would like you to think about is this: Is it really possible to be and individual in a world full of so many people and variations? And is it really that bad to be like those around you? Why do we insist on individuality? Why do we find peace of mind in it? So many questions to ponder… Well that’s all for now! Like I said, short and sweet. Expect more posts of this length at a rapid rate with throughout 2015. You know what I think is really sad? I think it’s sad how strung out the word happiness has become over the years. It used to be such a free independent description of all things which by their own right blow our hair back. But as of recent, “They” have taken hold of the word, “They” are determined to use the very concept of happiness to better themselves. “They” are very greedy. Who are “They?”, well in all honesty I am fine with you assigning anyone to be a placeholder for the word “They”. “They” use happiness as a sort of bait for luring us into fruitless advents, “They” make promises of happiness if we simply work a little bit harder or take on just one more late night shift away from our families. It’s sick really. I am here to give a faint cry as to what happiness really is. To whomever is reading this: happiness is not something that can be given, it can only be taken in. We can do everything in our power to try to make someone else happy, but it is only once they accept the gesture that the happiness actually becomes tangible.
Happiness is a bastardized term; As mentioned before, it has become strung out nearly beyond recognition. “They” will keep kicking this dead horse of a word until it quits spittin’ out money for them. What we have to recognize is that happiness is all around us; it is just waiting for us to grab it. Now I could give you a few examples of these simple pleasures which are seemingly abundant, but to be curt: only you can truly uncover them; Not to mention I would sound cheesy as can be if I started listing off simple pleasures (besides I am sure you have heard of them before). Find your own little piece of pleasure and hold onto it, offer to share it but if the offer isn’t taken, that’s fine: just make sure that nobody takes your little pleasure away from you. And in the unfortunate event that your little piece of pleasure is taken away from you… the only option left is to go pick up another piece. Please note that these pieces come in all shapes and sizes. I for one am using this blog post as my little piece of happiness for right now. I am truly enjoying expressing my thoughts while simultaneously breaking the fourth wall with this little self dialog. Happiness is a nine letter word. These few letters have the astounding ability to blanket over everything in this grand universe! How is this possible? Well it’s really quite simple. I’m sure that by now you have heard the saying that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. This can be rephrased to state that what one man despises, another will love. With a bit of lateral thinking you will be able to conclude what I am trying to get at with this poorly explained metaphor is that Happiness can be found in anything as long as we take on the right perspective. I would like to end this post now before I run out of clever little ideas and metaphors! Besides, I have always been one to believe in quality over quantity. Farewell for now! Black winds beckons forth from the cryptic source of all omens
Motivation is stirring from fear of the threat brought into focus by the dreadful gust It has been too long since the engine of life roared onwards Guilt, doubt, and languor no longer bind him to stagnation The possibility of a new life flavor has fallen into his pathway But the heartbeat of opportunity will soon cease if he does not grasp it He takes hold through a guise of fervent vigor which is already laced with dubiety The fiducial leap into the arms of motivation has commenced Now reliance plays the role of glue keeping this vessel afloat He senses potential bursting through the tightly knit threads of routine “Destroy and rebuild” has never felt so right as he consummates his marriage to change The black wind diminishes only to reveal a horizon of sui generis creations It is then that expression floods his toolset, his art is limitless, it is for one and all Never before has he felt so free -Dameon According to chaos theory, the universe is constantly moving to a state of disorder or entropy. It is constantly branching out and becoming more and more complex. Each decision you make will have an impact on the rest of your life; Regardless of how minuscule these actions may seem at the time. This can be best illustrated by the butterfly effect which states that small changes now can have a large impact later. The classic metaphor is based around how a hurricane can be effected by a butterfly flapping it’s wings several weeks earlier. Looking to boost your productivity? Well if you answered yes to that very simple question then you have come to the right place! Today I will teach you how you can optimize your work environment to maximize productivity and efficiency. We all yearn to get more done in our day to day pursuits. The problem is it’s actually quite difficult to finish anything significant in our meager twenty four hour boundaries which we are presented with by life. The answer to this predicament lies in the idea of working on big projects over time. You must break the project down into small bite sized increments which you tackle on at a time day to day. By applying this method you unlock the ability to get much more done if you manage to keep your enthusiasm high in addition to focusing on what matters. Today I would like to share with you some methodology which I apply to complete projects in my own life. I will also reveal to you the recipes for crafting an ideal project.

Reading and sharing quotes is a treasured pastime of mine. I enjoy experiencing the feelings they can purvey; Feelings of vigor and wisdom. Quotes capture a person's essence in a short line of text. The medium is very unique and can have quite a positive effect on anyone willing to approach with an open mind full of intrigue and acceptance. Today I have put together exactly twenty five quotes on the ever exciting topic of success. Whatever success is to you, make it happen with some complimentary wisdom provided by the following quotes.
Many of us search for motivation day in and day out. We stumble upon the spark of motivation and it gets us going, we continue to feed off of it until it dies out and then we are left with nothing; the motivation has faded and so yet again we search for the spark. If you are like most people you work harder when you are motivated, there is nothing wrong with this until you take a look at the bigger picture; Momentum will be built through your hard work. However, as soon as you lose motivation you will stop working hard, and your momentum will come grinding to a halt. This is why fluctuating motivation is not okay, it will stall your momentum and overall progress towards your dreams or goals. Today I would like to show you why I believe motivation is overrated.

Headway Parkour has come a long way since it's birth; yet it still has a long way to go. As the quote above states reflection is a valuable tool for anyone planning on improving their life and pursuits. With our upcoming video we aimed to reflect on our past mistakes and successes in order to create something new and exciting. We aimed to relive some of our best moments from our early days with a new fresh twist, we pulled this off by training in the same locations as we did for the first video. However, this time around we are much more skilled which has allowed us to breath new life into every spot. The video will be released on the first of June and we hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed creating it! For now enjoy some of the current content up on our YouTube channel! Art is a tricky thing. You start with this idea up in your head and you need a way to turn it into a tangible creation. You have to use the tools available to you in order accomplish this. It is for this reason that art is both easy and extremely hard. You may mistake this for a contradiction but in reality it holds true; you see, art is hard because of the toil you must put in to create it, but at the same time it’s extremely easy because it’s that vision in your head that drives you forward and makes it all worth it. Today I would like to share some of my thoughts on art in all of it’s many forms.
Today is my birthday and I feel so blessed to be living the life I am; Everything is perfect and I am moving quickly in the direction which I want to travel. Sure there are things which I would like to change but everything happens for a reason and there is always a lesson to be learned in any situation big or small. This is why I take time to be grateful for all that I have. Taking time to be grateful will brighten your life up even if you are not physically changing anything. Telling yourself that you are grateful for the things you have will tell your brain that those things are valuable assets that should not be taken lightly. From then on you will view everything with a fresh perspective pumped full of awe and wonder. Today I would like to enlighten you to the beauty of gratitude and what it can do for your everyday life.
